Liberty-based KeyMark Inc. said Friday it acquired Encore Imaging Systems, a document-management company based in Oregon.

The deal broadens KeyMark’s reach in the western United States, the Upstate company said. Terms of the acquisition were not released.

Like KeyMark, Encore Imaging Systems is a reseller of Kofax and Hyland Software’s OnBase enterprise content management software suite, KeyMark said. As part of the acquisition, KeyMark receives Magician, a product engineered to integrate GE Healthcare’s Centricity Electronic Medical Record with both OnBase and Kofax.

“We work with multiple software platforms and systems to design custom solutions to automate business processes with electronic document management, advanced data capture and workflow tools,” KeyMark CEO Jim Wanner said in a news release. “We believe the Encore acquisition will help us to continue growing and supporting our West Coast business and will enhance our medical industry focus.”

KeyMark is headquartered in Liberty, with offices in Columbia; Indianapolis; Lancaster, Penn.; Rock Hill; Portland, Ore; and Twin Cities, Minn.
