ZF seeks CNC machinists, engineers

ZF Transmissions continues to seek qualified candidates for its transmissions manufacturing facility in Gray Court.

ZF expects the production of its eight- and nine-speed transmissions to go into full production mode in the second quarter of 2013. The ZF Group previously announced plans to invest $430 million and create more than 1,200 jobs at the facility.

HTI Employment Solutions is recruiting for assembly, machine operators, CNC machinists, maintenance techs, quality techs, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, cost analysts, and material and production planners at two upcoming job fairs.

The Greenville job fair will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Embassy Suites, 670 Verdae Blvd. The Laurens fair will be Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 400 W. Main St.

Applicants that can’t attend should apply through their local S.C. Works location.

The Friedrichshafen, Germany-based ZF Group is a worldwide automotive supplier for driveline and chassis technology. It has 70,000 employees and 117 production locations in 26 countries. ZF has 17 production locations in North America, with a total workforce of 6,100. Of those, 12 locations are in the U.S. with 3,170 employees.

ZF parts are in major car brands, such as BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Toyota, Volkswagen and Hyundai Kia Automotive.
