Upstate Better Business Bureau elects board chair

The Better Business Bureau of the Upstate recently elected John Petrusick, commercial credit manager for TD Bank in Greenville, as chairman of its board for 2013.

In this role, Petrusick will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s 30-member board of directors and for monitoring and strengthening the programs and services provided to Better Business Bureau’s 10-county service area.

“As an organization focused on promoting and fostering ethics in the marketplace, the Better Business Bureau’s reputation is based on maintaining the highest standards at all levels,” said Vee Daniel, the Better Business Bureau of the Upstate president, in a news release. “We are fortunate to have an accomplished, quality leader like John Petrusick who is committed to our efforts for advancing trust between businesses and consumers in the Upstate.”

A graduate of the USC Moore School of Business, Petrusick’s background includes leadership positions in commercial banking with TD Bank and Carolina First Bank, where he served as a commercial relationship manager and commercial portfolio manager at both banks.

Better Business Bureau of the Upstate is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes ethical business practices throughout the 10 Upstate counties.
