Meyer Tool to invest $5M, add 50 jobs in Greenville County

Meyer Tool Inc., a high-tech supplier to the gas turbine engine industry, is more than tripling its size in a $5 million relocation-expansion that will add at least 50 jobs in Greenville County. The Cincinnati-based company is relocating its Mauldin operations to 85,000 square feet of purchased space on Pelham Road near Interstate 85.

Jobs to be filled include machine operators, project managers, quality assurance personnel, and sales and administrative support roles. Information on hiring requirements will be released soon on the company’s website and resumes can be emailed to, a statement said. Applications are being accepted at 7640 Pelham Road.

The company specializes in electrical discharge machining, laser machining and welding, waterjet machining, abrasive grinding, coating and other processes.

Founded in 1951, Meyer Tool supplies a range of precision components to the aerospace and gas turbine engine industries. The company has more than 1,100 employees at 10 facilities worldwide.
