Rudolph Logistics Group is launching a new warehousing operation in Spartanburg County. The Germany-based company is projected to bring more than $18 million of capital investment and create at least 150 new jobs.

The international logistics service provider headquartered in Baunatal, Germany will be moving into a 171,000-square-foot existing building in the Caliber North Business Park in Greer, according to the S.C. Department of Commerce. The new center will focus on sequencing, line feeding and warehousing.

"Spartanburg County is one of the most dynamic business locations in the U.S. Starting operations here offers great opportunities for us and the customers we serve. They can now benefit from our long-term experience as a specialist in all logistical tasks related to the automotive sector with this new location in a key manufacturing region,” said Torsten Rudolph, managing partner of Rudolph Logistics Group.

Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin in October.
