The Commerce Club in downtown Greenville has partnered with Bon Secours St. Francis Health System to develop a new program called Be Well with Bon Secours, which highlights health and wellness topics each month.

Various business leaders and physicians with Bon Secours St. Francis Health System will present “relevant and empowering information focused on wellness, as it relates to both personal health and business success,” according to Ashley Baur, member relations coordinator for the Commerce Club.

This series came about when Craig McCoy, CEO of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, was our guest speaker in April 2016 for our Executive Speaker Series,” Baur told GSA Business Report. “He and I discussed the idea of partnering on a program that would benefit both our members and the community. A few short months later, Be Well with Bon Secours was born.”

Be Well with Bon Secours features two speakers presenting two different topics each month at the Commerce Club in downtown Greenville. The presentations are free and open to the public, but reservations are requested. Each segment lasts about 30 minutes, providing time for the attendees to ask questions at the end. The program is being offered the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.

“We are thrilled to launch this new series in partnership with Bon Secours St. Francis. We believe it will be of great benefit, not just for our members, but for the community as a whole,” said Gus Atencio, Commerce Club interim general manager, in a news release. “With nearly 1,100 members, we are continually crafting new programs to help people further develop connections, both professionally and socially, and we believe this program will do just that.”

Each month, various business leaders and physicians with Bon Secours St. Francis Health System will present relevant and empowering information focused on wellness, as it relates to both personal health and business success.

“Bon Secours St. Francis Health System strives to promote health and wellness within the Greenville community in addition to providing compassionate health care to our patients. Our physicians and other experts look forward to discussing a variety of topics this year designed to educate and inspire individuals towards developing healthy lifestyles,” said Craig McCoy, CEO of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, in the release. “Our health system understands good health stems from physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional dimensions of wellness. Bon Secours St. Francis Health System looks forward to partnering with the Commerce Club in creating awareness of the importance of this inspirational new series,”
