The new terminal — located at the intersection of Wesleyan Drive and Clayton Street — replaced a shelter used at the end of Wesleyan Drive, according to a news release. Todd Voss, Southern Wesleyan University president, said the location of the new terminal fits within the recent campus expansion.
“The center of campus is rapidly moving west and this change is simply the next step of keeping up with that movement,” Voss said, in the release.
A pull-over lane and newly-designed shelter are part of the new terminal design. The Southern Wesleyan campus is on Clemson Area Transit’s Red Route and buses stop at the campus every 30 minutes.
