IdentoGo, the provider of TSA Precheck enrollment, is enrolling travelers today through Wednesday at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. Once enrolled, TSA Precheck members can skip long security checkpoint lines and other security measures. The process is designed to get travelers to their gates faster. TSA Precheck enrollees use separate lines at some airports and do not need to remove shoes, belts, light jackets, laptops or approved liquids, according to a news release.
IdentoGo’s RV will be on site at GSP from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today through Wednesday, April 12.
Interested participants will need to bring government-issued photo identification and proof of U.S citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a passport. Once approved, travelers will be enrolled in TSA Precheck for a period of five years for a fee of $85, according to the release.
Interested participants are encouraged to fill out the online application before coming to the mobile event. As part of the process, the applicant must be interviewed and a background check conducted. Both the interview and background check will be conducted on site during the event.
