Thirteen of the 40 companies in this year’s SC Biz News’ ranking of the fastest growing companies in the state are in the Upstate. Those Roaring ‘20s winners were recognized today during a GSA Business Report Power Event, which also featured, as keynote speaker, Brenda Thames, vice president for academic and faculty affairs for the Greenville Health System and incoming chairwoman of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She also is associate dean for institutional culture and inclusivity for the USC School of Medicine Greenville.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to all the Roaring '20s winners. What a wonderful day for Greenville and the Upstate to have so many of our businesses recognized,” Thames said. “What do we all have in common today in this room – regardless of the business we may come from? I’ve come to understand we have more in common than we might realize. Couple that with all the collaboration that is going on in Greenville and its’s truly an exciting time for the Upstate.”
