Details
In honor of Black History Month, special tours on this day take an in-depth look at the lives of African and African American residents at Hampton, from colonial slavery through the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the first half of the 20th century. Tours run at 12pm and 2pm, with local historian guest speaker Christine Mitchell presenting in the ballroom at 1pm.
