Elizabeth Lynn, Founder & Director of the Center for Civic Reflection at Valparaiso University, will examine the four distinctive philanthropic traditions in the United States: philanthropy as relief, philanthropy as social reform, philanthropy as civic engagement, and philanthropy as improvement.
