A family-owned Greenville jewelry design studio is expanding with a new location.

Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio is relocating to an expanded 2,040-square-foot space at the nearby McDaniel Village shopping center, according to a news release. The new store features two additional jewelry showcases, an open-concept design for observing the custom design process and room for more staff.

“We’re excited to begin this new chapter in McDaniel Village,” said Mike Ponthieux, founder and GIA Graduate Gemologist, in the release. “This move allows us to expand our offerings and continue to deliver the personalized experience our customers have come to expect over the past two decades.”

The studio is currently located at 1818 Augusta St.

Mike opened Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio in 2001 with his wife, Wanda, driven by an enthusiasm for jewelry making that began in elementary school, the release stated. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, he established the studio to showcase his expertise in custom jewelry design.
