The International Center of the Upstate will feature Damien Michelin, the great grandson of Edouard Michelin, on January 18, when he will share stories of how Michelin came to Upstate South Carolina.
The Upstate Global Professionals event, sponsored by The International Center of the Upstate, will feature the topic "From bicycles in France to tires in the Southland -- Why Michelin chose Greenville and how it transformed our economy.
The event will be held on Tuesday, January 18th at 5:30 p.m. at Michelin on Main, 550 S. Main Street, in downtown Greenville.
The event is $30 for Upstate Global Professionals members, and $40 for International Center members and other guests. the event cost includes French hors’ devours and wine.
