Due to the weather, the Spanish speaking community forum that Ten at the Top and the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce had planned for tonight has now been changed to Jan. 19.
This special Spanish language forum is being held, in addition to 12 county-specific community forums that were held in October and November, to ensure additional community involvement in the development of the Shared Upstate Growth Vision and implementation strategy for the region.
The event will take place on Jan. 19 at the NEXT Innovation Center, 411 University Ridge, Greenville, S.C., from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The event is open to all Upstate residents. Attendees are asked to pre-register to participate by going to www.sharedupstatevision.org. Registration will be open until the day of the event.
With the Upstate projected to add as many as 275,000 new residents and 200,000 jobs over the next 20 years, Ten at the Top was created to foster collaboration and future planning in South Carolina’s Upstate region.
Comprising public, private and civic leaders across the ten-county Upstate, Ten at the Top encourages regional trust and consensus through data-driven research and regular convening of leaders and citizens to address key issues facing the region.
The organization works with regional partners to encourage quality growth and enhance the economic vitality, natural and cultural resources and quality of life for Upstate residents both today and as the region continues to grow.
