Downtown Alive
What: Josh Roberts and the Hinges create its own rock and roll by combining blues, country, punk and soul harmonies.

Rhythm on the River
What: Beach music for families and couples ages 24 to 65. All proceeds benefit local charities.

Music by the Lake

What: Lakeside Concert Band performs Rhapsody in Blue. Picnic baskets and well-behaved, leashed animals welcome. No alcohol.
When: Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Amphitheatre on Furman University campus.

Spartanburg Museum Lunch & Learn
What: The Spartanburg Regional History Museum hosts Pat Buie McKinney to discuss the history of the soil conservation movement and its roots in Spartanburg County. Bring your own lunch.
When: Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

S.C. Festival of Flowers
What: Come out to see more than 1,000 varieties of annuals, perennials and vegetables and enjoy the bluegrass, beach music and art and photography shows. There’s also a triathlon and 5K run.

Greenville Zoo Members Night
What: Greenville Zoo celebrates Members Appreciation Night at the zoo.
When: Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Cost: Free to members. Non-members can join or renew to partake in the event.

Hub City Farmers’ Saturday Market
What: Saturday Market offers a variety of produce, plants, prepared good, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities and live music.

Tie Dye Workshop
What: The Mauldin Cultural Center hosts a Tie Dye Workshop class.
