Greenville-based Cline Hose & Hydraulics LLC is moving its headquarters to Verdin Road, between Interestate 385 and Woodruff Road, from its previous location near downtown Greenville. Cline provides fluid power sales, services and repair for hoses and hydraulics.
The company said it has “outgrown” its location at Buncombe Road and Butler Street. The company has been located downtown since 1948. The downtown location will close on Dec. 11, and the new location at 155 Verdin Road will open at 7 a.m., Dec. 14.
“This move is key to our growth strategy,” said Joe Weldie, Cline COO, in a statement. “Our new location will house all of our departments under one roof. We’ll have more room for collaboration and easy access for customers and deliveries.”
Cline president Scott Cline, grandson of company founder N.Q. Cline Sr. said the downtown location was beneficial, but “having six lanes of Buncombe Street running between our hose and hydraulics operations has been inconvenient, to say the least.”
“The new location is part of our development as a professional sales, service and repair organization, and we think our customers will be pleased with the upgrade,” Cline said.
