(Photo/Provided)Clemson’s Dominion Senior Living at Patrick Square and Everlan Independent Living by Dominion presented a donation to Wild Hearts Equine Therapy Center after the nonprofit visited residents with horses in tow earlier this month.

“We are very excited to be partnering with such a wonderful nonprofit,” Lindsey Daugherty, campus director of Dominion Senior Living at Patrick Square, said in a news release. “Our hope is that community partnerships like this will bring joy and hope to our residents, especially during these times. Our desire is that when people live with us, they will feel a holistic, energetic atmosphere that is full of life, as well as being a place that is calm and comfortable enough to call home.”

Wild Hearts aids children with special needs, veterans, abuse victims and others, according to the news release.

“It warmed our hearts to bring joy to Everlan’s residents and brighten their day,” Jessica Fry, CEO and founder of Wild Hearts Equine Therapy, said in the release. “We are honored that Dominion selected us as a community partner to help elevate its residents’ lives and we are so grateful for the generous contribution. It will help us reach many more people in our community.”
