The SCRA will grant Charleston’s BrightMa Farms LLC, a new SCRA member, and Greenville’s RAAMP, an existing member, a total of $100,000 for capital investment.

RAAMP will receive a $50,000 Demonstration Grant for its online platform developed to combine lease management, accounting and document storage in a team-shared environment, according to a news release. A group of analysts, property managers and chief financial officers designed the platform, which initially served as an internal private asset management tool.

SCRA also initiated BrightMa Farms as an association member with a $50,000 Demonstration Grant. BrightMa relies on sustainable and organic farming practices to produce high-grade hemp products for the medicinal and wellness market, according to the release.

The SCRA, consisting of the SC Academic Innovations, SC Facilities, SC Industry Solutions and SC Launch programs, fuels South Carolina’s innovation economy by offering funding and support to startups and academic institutions.
