Riverton Point's three home collections feature craftsman, farmhouse and traditional architectural designs, according to the company. (Rendering/Provided)The Beach Co.’s Canvas Tower is hard to miss driving into Greenville’s central business district with its sepia-toned mural of teacher Pearlie Harris and accordioned brick columns soaring above the fork of College and Buncombe streets.

Its neighboring townhouse community-in-the-works, Canvas Townes, is not as conspicuous, but it is the sign of a Fortune 500 company on the move across the Palmetto State.

The 31-unit community will be the fifth Upstate community in the Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers’ S.C. portfolio, in addition to 10 developments in Charleston and Myrtle Beach and three in York County.

Making inroads into Hardeeville, near Hilton Head, appears to be the next objective on the Toll Brothers’ radar as the company prepares to open gated planned community Riverton Pointe in August.

Riverton Pointe will feature 15 single-story home designs ranging from approximately 1,680 to 3,500 square feet and drawing from craftsman, farmhouse and traditional architectural designs, according to a news release. Toll Brothers plans to build 950 homes on the site eventually, with current homes starting in the mid $300,000 range.

Amenities will include a pool, fitness center, driving range and courts for tennis, pickleball and bocce ball, which will later be joined by an 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course, a pro golf shop, clubhouse, café and additional racquet sports courts.

The community is located 14 miles away from Hilton Head and 26 miles from Savannah off Highway 278.

The Toll Brothers have developed communities in 24 states and the District of Columbia, and also operates its own architectural, engineering, mortgage, title, land development, golf course development, smart home technology and landscape subsidiaries, the release said.
