From June 7 to June 13, the only Pro-Am tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour landed in The Cliffs Valley and Thornblade Club after a year-long hiatus. Pro athletes, celebrities ranging from Brian Baumgartner (better known as Kevin from The Office) to Cedric the Entertainer, and local amateurs vied for a total purse of $700,000 in the name of Upstate charities including the Cancer Society of Greenville County, Cliffs Residents Outreach, Gibbs Cancer Center and Research InstituteMeyer Center for Special Children, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg and Roper Mountain Science Center. Since its inception in 2001, the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by Synnex Corp. has raised more than $13.7 million in community aid.

Mito Pereira of Santiago, Chile won this year's tournament. He was paired with Joe Don Rooney, vocalist of Rascal Flatts during the Friday and Saturday games.
