Pinnacle Financial Partners has moved into a new office at 531 E. Main St. in Spartanburg. The drive-thru is open today, and the lobby is tentatively scheduled to open in July as Pinnacle reopens areas that were closed for the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release.

“Pinnacle has gone all out in building the kind of office our clients deserve,” office leader Tammy Painter said in the news release. “It’s big, beautiful, modern and has everything we need to contribute to our community. We’ve been in a temporary space next door since just before the new year, so we’ve been able to offer consistent service to clients with minimal disruption. It will feel great to welcome them into our new home.”

This location replaces an older building demolished in late 2019. The office also features an ATM and two drive-thru lanes and it will include a learning center with audio-visual capabilities for financial education events with clients and neighbors and community meetings, the release said.

Pinnacle entered the S.C. market in 2017 when it acquired BNC Bancorp. The firm began in downtown Nashville, Tenn., in October 2000 and has since grown to approximately $29.3 billion in assets as of March 31, 2020, the release said. The second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, Pinnacle operates in 12 primarily urban markets in Tennessee, the Carolinas, Virginia and Georgia.
