98 Ventures expands to Poe West with 150 new jobs

An executive management services company called 98 Ventures is making plans to expand operations in Greenville, creating 150 new jobs.

The company offers services in human resources, accounting, risk management, communications, application development, information technology, recruiting, legal, data analysis, operations support and training and development, according to a news release. As a result of recent strategic company growth, 98 Ventures supports three Greenville-based affiliate logistics organizations: UST, UST Select and Equip Fulfillment.

To accommodate this expansion, 98 Ventures will relocate to the Poe West development in the Village of West Greenville in January. The company's expansion includes a more than $600,000 building renovation investment, according to the release.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for the entire 98 Ventures family, and we look forward to our continued growth as well as providing the very best for our partners, clients and team members, company President Scott Moore said in the release. “I am confident that our relocation to Poe West will propel our team to new heights, as well as set us up for great success moving forward. We are honored to play a critical role in the revitalization of the West Village and are ecstatic to begin work in our new space.”

The S.C. Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to the project.

“In 2016, when 98 Ventures (then UST Logistical Systems) announced their move to Greenville, it was a great day for our city,” Mayor Knox White said in the release. “Now, just a few short years later, 98 Ventures is announcing a new round of expansion, and we couldn’t be prouder of their growth, success and commitment to making Greenville a better place to live and work. “
