A Charleston marketing and events agency is setting up shop in Greenville.
The Rock It! Co. is returning to its roots with its expansion to the Upstate this month, according to a news release from the firm.
Leah Stoudenmire, The Rock It! Co.’s founder and CEO, started her advertising career in Greenville in 2002 when the University of South Carolina graduate started her first post-college job with advertising giant Erwin Penland, the release stated
In 2004, she became director of sales services, marketing and events for IMI Resort Holdings, and then in 2008, she co-founded COAST Apparel, and served as president until 2012.
“I spent the first decade of my professional career in Greenville, and have always loved its community and culture,” Stoudenmire said in the release. “I’ve always had my eye on coming back, and now was a perfect opportunity with The Rock It! Co.”
Founded in 2014, The Rock It! Co. is a full-service marketing and events agency, the release stated. It has extensive experience with planning and managing in-person conferences, virtual conferences, sales incentive trips and experiences for companies such as PlanSource, iBTR, Kastle Systems, Snagajob and ICF.
Rock It! also partners with companies to deliver specialized marketing solutions including branding and design, content creation, email marketing, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), product launches, website design and development, the release stated.

The Rock It! Co. will be maintaining its Charleston office in addition to the Upstate expansion, according to the release. Aside from Stoudenmire, The Rock It! Co.’s leadership team includes Margo Payne, senior director of operations; Manon Brown, senior director of communications; and Olivia Mortensen, director of creative services.
