Crawford Strategy has hired Anna Simmons as an account coordinator. Simmons is a graduate of Clemson University and has experience in recruiting, marketing, event planning and public relations. She most recently was a professional recruiter at Aerotek.ment and provide program support.

ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION

Moss & Associates has added Steve Foushee to head its Carolinas operations in Greenville, and Patrick Griswold will be a senior project manager. Foushee has more than 10 years of dedicated project management experience in the Carolinas and Georgia, while Griswold has more than 30 years of experience in design build and construction management.

Harper Corp. has added Bryan Royal and Matt Johnson as shareholders. Royal has been a division manager for Harper’s Environmental Systems Division, and Johnson was division manager for Harper’s commercial business.

Michael Howard has been hired as a senior project manager for O’Neal Inc. Howard has more than 25 years of experience with process manufacturing construction projects. He was previously a senior project executive with Walbridge Construction and has worked for Sanders Brothers and BE&K Building Group.

CCAD Engineering has added Rob Will as a staff engineer. Will is a licensed professional civil engineer and professional land surveyor with a background in surveying and construction services.

Bill Connor has been hired by Creative Builders Inc. as a project manager. Connor graduated from the University of Kentucky with degrees in business management and civil engineering. He has 15 years of experience in the construction industry, the past 10 of which have been as a project manager.

BANKING & FINANCE

Tamela Spann has been named manager of strategic initiatives for Hollingsworth Funds Inc. in Greenville. She has more than 20 years of experience in philanthropy, government affairs, community outreach and teaching. She has previously worked for the Spartanburg County Foundation, the United Way of Greenville County and the Mary Black Foundation.

SeaCrest Wealth Management has named Melissa Liggett as a client relationship manager in Greenville. Liggett has a background in insurance and health care. Additionally, Richard Matthews has been hired as an investment adviser representative in Greenville. He has more than 10 years of experience as a financial adviser.

James Hendrix has joined Sheetz Hogan Freeman & Phillips Insurance Agency as an account executive. He attended Clemson University and graduated with a degree in finance. He was a member of the 2003 NCAA championship team and was a professional golfer on the PGA-Web.com tour.

EDUCATION

Limestone College has hired Justin Ogle as its Upstate corporate marketing representative and Matthew Graham as its Midlands corporate marketing representative. Both will serve as primary contacts for companies seeking to partner with Limestone College and its new Corporate Grant Program.

LAW

Womble Carlyle has added Josh Howard to its litigation bench. Howard has more than 12 years of experience representing businesses in a wide range of federal and state disputes in South Carolina. He has represented clients in cases before the S.C. Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

Thomas R. Crouch has joined Willson Jones Carter & Baxley P.A. in its Greenville office.

NONPROFITS

The Better Business Bureau of the Upstate has added James D. Jordan, Connie Caldwell, Thomas Gagne and Jessica Sharp to its board. Jordan is the president of Jordan Construction. Caldwell is general manager at Carolina Heating Service of Greenville Inc. Gagne is the president and owner of the Attorney Offices of Thomas Gagne P.A., and Sharp is diversity coordinator for Greenville Health System – University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Greenville.

Jonathan A. Coleman has been approved as the new executive director of the Laurens County Development Corp. He will work with outgoing executive director Marvin Moss through the transition period until the end of the year. Coleman is a graduate of Clemson University and has more than 10 years of experience in economic development.

Lisa Giaimo, vice president of sales and marketing at OTO Development in Spartanburg, and Dave Sundermann, general manager and director of sales at the Spartanburg Marriott, have joined the Spartanburg Tourism Advisory Board as part of the Spartanburg Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Brad Wyche, founder and first executive officer of Upstate Forever, was recently honored by Gov. Nikki Haley with the Order of the Palmetto, the state’s highest civilian honor. He was surprised with the award during a retirement reception by state Sen. Larry Martin, R-Pickens.

Tom McGrath has been named director of development for the Upcountry Museum at Furman University. He is responsible for designing, executing and overseeing a comprehensive fundraising program to develop donors for the museum.

The Blood Connection has named Don Hall as its director of business and finance. He has experience in public accounting and financial leadership for nonprofit, warehousing, printing and marketing organizations. He will oversee compliance and reporting functions and is a licensed certified public accountant.

Travis Babb has been named the new development director for Greer Community Ministries. He has more than 25 years of experience as a financial consultant with a national firm and worked for Benore Logistic Systems Inc. prior to joining Greer Community Ministries.

Boyd B. Nicholson Jr., a managing partner with Haynsworth Sinker Boyd, has been elected to the S.C. Chamber of Commerce board of directors for the 2015-16 term. Nicholson is a managing director for the firm and practices out of its Greenville office.

Jim Wall has been reappointed to the Greenville Airport Commission by the Greenville County Council. He will serve an additional three-year term. Wall is currently the vice chairman of the commission that owns and operates the Greenville Downtown Airport.
