A building located at the Caliber North Business Park is nearing completion.
According to Liberty Property Trust — owner of the park — the 171,600-square-foot, LEED-certified industrial facility is the first building of two planned for the park, which is located in Greer.
“It’s was a hectic but satisfying start of the year,” Massie Flippin, vice president and market officer for Liberty in the mid-Atlantic, said in a news release. “This building could not have come online at a better time, as we are more than 95% occupied across our entire Carolinas portfolio.”
The company said its Caliber Ridge Business Park — which is adjacent to Caliber North — has reached 100% occupancy.
The new building in Caliber North, at 2988 Green Road, includes 36-foot roof heights and energy-efficient LED lighting. Flippin said the park is easily accessible by S.C. Highway 101 and Interstate 85, as well as Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and Inland Port Greer.
The development team includes MCA Architecture, blueWater Design and Harper Construction. The company has plans to develop a second, smaller building of 94,500 square feet to complete the park.
