J. Davis Construction has completed renovations to Walhalla Elementary in West Union. The school underwent a series of both new construction initiatives as well as renovating existing space within the school, according to a news release.

The improvements included a complete redesign of the front traffic pattern to ease congestion for dropping off and picking up students, a new gymnasium and locker room facility, and a renovation of the old gym into new classrooms.

“The project came in on time, under budget and at a very high quality at Walhalla Elementary,” said Richard Alexander, director of facility services for the School District of Oconee County, in the release. “The renovations were quite challenging. Our schedule was tight, but it was met in a very professional manner.”
