The concrete manufacturer said the change will expand the company’s opportunities for focused growth and flexibility in light of the changing construction landscape.

“This realignment of the business allows our company to pay that much closer attention to what we do well and what sets us apart as we aggressively seek ways to continue to serve our customers and deliver innovative solutions to numerous market segments,” Greg Force, president and CEO of the company, said in a news release. “Because of the strength and tenure of our team and their commitment to bring passion and ingenuity to every challenging opportunity, Tindall distinguishes itself as more than a provider of precast concrete products. We’ve become an industry leader in developing cutting-edge building system and infrastructure solutions, and we are excited to take this next big step in Tindall’s history.”

Tindall’s five prestress divisions will now be combined into the Tindall Building Systems Group, which will offer concrete solutions for the residential, commercial, institutional, manufacturing and warehouse/distribution market segments.

Rob Smith will lead Tindall Building Systems Group as senior vice president of operations.

Tindall’s Utility Division is now called the Tindall Infrastructure Group.

With a facility that opened in 2021 and advanced automation technology, acquired through a $27.9 million investment, this segment of the company focuses on the development and engineering of next-generation and custom products for heavy civil, petrochemical, energy and utility uses.

Joel Sheets will lead Tindall Infrastructure Group from the company’s 2877 Fairforest Clevedale Road location as senior vice president of operations.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded Spartanburg County a $100,000 Set-Aside grant for costs related to the 2021 expansion project in 2020, according to a previous report.
