Ten at the Top will host its 11th Celebrating Successes Event Nov. 17 at the Greenville Convention Center to recognize organizations and individuals invested in bolstering the Upstate business community.

During the event program, starting at 10:30 a.m. and concluding with a noon lunch reception, five finalists for the 2021 Hughes Investments Elevate Upstate Vibrancy Grants will make their grant presentations, according to a news release. Two award recipients for the Burdette Leadership Award and the Welling Award for Regional Collaboration will walk away from the event with a $5,000 grant.

Ten at the Top Funding Partners will receive complimentary tickets for the event, while individual tickets can be purchased for $20.

Finalists named for 2021 Hughes Investments Elevate Upstate Vibrancy Grants, out of a pool of 19 applicants, include:

  • Artisanal Anderson, a culinary and music festival hosted by the United Way of Anderson County on Main Street that is slated for late summer or early fall of 2022. Local artisans and musicians will showcase their work for visitors who attend to dine on a multi-course meal with ingredients from across the county.
  • Belton’s Downtown Sounds, to be launched by the city of Belton in 2022, will host food trucks and musicians downtown four times throughout the summer.
  • Concerts at Conestee: A May Music Series in the Preserve, hosted by Greenville’s Conestee Nature Preserve, will be a free music series hosted every Thursday starting in May 2022 at the park’s amphitheater, according to the release. Food and alcohol will be available for purchase from a food truck and beverage vendor.
  • Italian-American Festival, planned by the Italian American Club of Greater Greenville, will be a one-day Italian street festival held on Main Street in Fountain Inn. The event is expected to host food, beverage and craft vendors as well as live music, dancing and carnival rides.
  • Let’s Take a Walk series was created by the Honea Path Planning Committee to reintroduce town citizens to their downtown area, according to the release. Walks will include a Spring Honey Walk during the Honey Sop Festival, the Summer Beer Walk during the town’s Fourth of July Celebration, a Fall Wine Walk during the Fall Festival and a Winter Walk during Honea Path’s Christmas Tree Lighting.
