A Moore restaurant that grew out of Spartanburg’s peach industry will establish new roots — but not too far away.

In addition to Cribbs Kitchen’s location in downtown Spartanburg, owners William Cribb and Raj Patel are bringing their dinner and wine menu to a second home at Tyger River Plaza on 5850 Reidville Road. The restaurant is slated to open early in the third quarter of 2022.

“As Spartanburg has seen incredible growth over the past decade, we feel there are parts of the county that are underserved and feel like this is the perfect time and location for us to expand the Cribbs Kitchen brand,” Patel said in a news release.

The restaurant will be 5,000 square feet with more than 120 seats, an outdoor patio dining space and a full-service bar. The menu will mimic the downtown location along with some specialty smoked meats.

“With the birth of Cribbs Kitchen over a decade ago we have always been community driven,” Cribb said in the release. “Without our community we have nothing. Since we opened, our local landscape at large has grown. We are very excited to continue growing in Spartanburg County with our second location.”

Sandra Cannon Interior Design is working on the redevelopment of the new venue.

“Cribbs Kitchen is about authenticity and we are recognizing that in the natural finishes throughout the space,” designer Sandra Cannon said in the release. “Reclaimed wood, copper and custom table designs support a brand that is comfortable and fresh at the same time.”
