A Greenville company has received grant funding through the S.C. Research Authority and a Summerville company has been accepted as a member.

Scarlet Connect LLC has been accepted as an SCRA member company, according to a news release. The Summerville-based startup is working to modernize the hospitality industry and streamline the hotel guest experience, from booking to post-stay reviews.
All SCRA member companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for an investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.

In Greenville, Bottle Titan LLC received a $50,000 acceleration grant.

The SCRA member company provides a real-time alert system which tracks conditions such as temperature, humidity and light, specifically designed for commercial alcohol, tobacco and food industries.

Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund contributors that fuel the state’s economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit.
