Greenville Tech named Promising Place to Work

Greenville Technical College has been named one of the 2020 Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges. The selection was made by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

The award was created to recognize institutions that demonstrate strong recruitment and retention practices, inclusive learning and working environments, and meaningful community service opportunities, according to a news release.

First selected for the award in 2018, this is the second time the college has been recognized. In addition, Greenville Tech has received the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity award four times, most recently in 2019, the news release said.

“We are very proud of the culture change that has taken place on our campuses and continues to grow,” Keith Miller, president of Greenville Technical College, said in the release. “We are committed to continuing the hard work that produces an environment in which students, staff, and visitors feel welcomed, respected, and valued.”
