Students attending 16 technical schools across the state can now bridge credits to Anderson University’s online and on-campus bachelor’s degree programs through an agreement with the S.C. Technical College System.

“This agreement is a culmination of our efforts to partner with the S.C. Technical College System to create streamlined pathways for students who desire to continue their education at Anderson University,” Evans Whitaker, president of Anderson University, said in a news release. “Students from all 16 technical colleges will now find their credits seamlessly applied to our numerous online or on-campus bachelor’s degree programs. This partnership is reflective of our commitment to the state’s workforce and economic development by creating more access to AU’s high-quality, in-demand programs.”

Students that earned a C or above in each course applicable to an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from a school in the S.C. Technical College System will enter Anderson University with junior standing, according to the release.

“This agreement will help our graduates achieve a seamless transfer to Anderson University,” Tim Hardee, president of the S.C. Technical College System, said in the release. “This is an important partnership focused on enhancing access and achieving student success. We are always pleased to build new bridges for our students that broaden their opportunities and help them rise up to realize their educational dreams and career aspirations.”
