Public invited to open house for GVL2040

The city of Greenville will host its second open house for GVL2040, the city’s comprehensive plan, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at East North Street Academy at 1720 E. North St.

The drop-in style meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to speak with the project consultants, city staff and members of the GVL2040 citizen steering committee, as well as share their thoughts on issues like transportation and affordable housing.

The public is encouraged to participate in a new online survey designed to focus on the community issues identified as top priorities in the first survey, which was conducted in July. The deadline to participate is Friday, Nov. 22.
