Point-of-sale technology producer ScanSource Inc. has named Matthew Dean vice president and general counsel. Dean will oversee the company’s worldwide corporate legal department and will prove legal counsel to the board of directors, CEO and other global senior leadership. He will report to Mike Baur, ScanSource CEO.

“Matt brings extensive experience to our management team and will be instrumental in our continued strategic growth,” Baur said, in a news release. “His knowledge in managing multinational legal matters and acquisitions will be a great asset to ScanSource.”
