White Hot Party scheduled to support NAMI

B&R Events LLC is hosting Southern Gala’s White Hot Party at Larkin’s The L at 221 E. Broad St. on Thursday, May 23, with a portion of the proceeds and sponsorships benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness, according to a news release. Guests are encouraged to wear casual white attire. The party’s theme is Age of Aquarius.

“My goal is to break the stigma associated with mental illness. With proper care, the 20% of the population suffering from mental illnesses can live healthier lives. We are thrilled to host this event again and raise awareness of NAMI Greenville’s services,” Samantha Radandt, co-owner of B&R Events and director of Southern Gala, said in the release. “I’m an award-winning small business owner, an advocate for NAMI, a wife and daughter. I suffer from bipolar II, but I don’t let it define me.”

Spinx, Redhype, Palmetto Distillery, Tri-County Event Rentals, and Larkin’s on the River are top level sponsors, InSouth Magazine, Bedoin Tent LLC, Oskar Blues, Holly’s Cakes, Inn Season Floral, and Palmetto Distillery are supporting sponsors, according to the release.
