A company specializing in concession management will soon be handling operations at two restaurants inside Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
St. Louis-based Outstanding Hospitality Management Concession Group has been named food and beverage operators for R.J. Rockers Flight Room and Thomas Creek Grill inside the terminal at GSP.
“Over the next 12 months, we will be working with (Outstanding Hospitality Management) on several exciting projects to enhance the customer experience,” said Dave Edwards, GSP Airport District president and CEO, in a statement.
The projects include:
- Expanding the seating around both R.J. Rockers Flight Room and Thomas Creek Grill.
- Introduce new menus for both establishments.
- Replace the Caribou coffee kiosk with a grab-and-go concept inside Concourse A.
- Open a Chick-Fil-A and another “casual dining restaurant” in the third quarter.
According to its website, Outstanding Hospitality Management started in airport concessions in 1998, when they were awarded the concessions contract at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Since then, the company has expanded to include concession operations at Orlando International Airport, Pensacola International Airport, Indianapolis International Airport, Dulles International Airport, Reagan National Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Philadelphia International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport.
Edwards added that there will be more “exciting news” coming from the airport as it starts to wind down its $125 million Wingspan terminal improvement project.
