Tropical Smoothie Café open on Pelham Road

Tropical Smoothie Café is now open at 3704 Pelham Road. This is the third Tropical Smoothie location in Greenville, and the second for owners Bill Ruby and Greg Powell, who also own the Five Forks location, next to Lowes Foods. The Pelham Road location will emphasize to-go and online orders, according to a news release. A grand opening event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 8, during which customers will get a free smoothie with the purchase of a flatbread.

 

Restaurant to aid Hurricane Harvey victims

Fuddruckers restaurants in the Upstate will donate 10% of all net sales between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. today to victims of Hurricane Harvey. Participating restaurants are in Greenville, Spartanburg, Duncan, Taylors, Greer and Anderson. The very first Fuddruckers opened in Texas and has 27 locations in Houston and the surrounding areas. The restaurant is headquartered in Houston.

Participating locations in the Upstate are:

  • 1509 John B. White Sr. Blvd., Spartanburg
  • 1515 E. Main St., Duncan
  • 6100 Wade Hampton Blvd., Taylors
  • 1147 Woodruff Road, Greenville
  • 100 Destination Blvd., Anderson
