Shaak is a graduate of the culinary program at Greenville Technical College. At 16, he began an apprenticeship under his father at Greenville’s City Range Steakhouse Grill. Over five years he worked his way through the kitchen ranks to executive chef. He has experience in many restaurants in the Greenville area, including The Cliffs, High Cotton, Soby’s New South Cuisine, and most recently The Farmer’s Table, the release said.
