Brewery planned for Poe West

Listen to this articleCarolina Bauernhaus Brewery & Winery is opening its second South Carolina location at Poe West, a 60,000-square-foot mixed use development in the Village of West Greenville. The brewery is scheduled to open in the fall and will feature more than 3,000-square-feet of covered outdoor space for a beer garden and entertainment area, according to a news release.
Carolina Bauernhaus’ first South Carolina operation is in Anderson.
CBRE is handling the leasing at Poe West and represented the landlord and developer, The Furman Co., in the lease transaction.
“We are excited to bring something new to the Greenville craft community and expand on our current culture of wild regional ales, by integrating those into a European-inspired brewpub full of classic historic ales and lagers,” said Keston Helfrich, founder and of Carolina Bauernhaus, in the release.
