Greenville gets second Golftec

Golftec has opened an instruction and club-fitting center at 4100 Pelham Road, Suite C, in Greenville. Kyle Mason, Greenville Golftec manager, will oversee operations of the new facility. As a PGA professional, Mason has more than 11 years of experience teaching golfers of all skill levels, according to a news release.

Golftec also has a location at Magnolia Park on Woodruff Road, according to the company’s website.

“Golfers in the Carolinas are a specific breed and have very high standards when it comes to their games,” Mason said in the release. “Now Greenville has a one-stop shop for all things related to game improvement.”

The new facility is staffed with coaches and includes three practice bays along with a putting/warm-up area. It also features the company’s club-fitting program. The fitting experience combines swing characteristics with ball flight data to help identify optimal equipment for each student, according to the release.
