(Photo/Molly Hulsey)Anderson is hosting one leg of the Phoenix Bass Fishing League Savannah River Division tournament, a Major League Fishing event, this Saturday on Lake Hartwell.

Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will compete for awards of up to $13,000 and $3,000 in the one-day tournament. Take-off starts at 6:30 a.m. at Green Pond Landing and weigh-in will be at 2:30 p.m.

The 2021 MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League presented by T-H Marine is a 24-division circuit devoted to weekend anglers, with 128 tournaments throughout the season and five qualifying events in each division, according to a news release. The top 45 boaters and Strike King co-anglers from each division, along with five winners of the qualifying events, will advance to one of six Phoenix Bass Fishing League Regional Championships.

Boaters will compete for a $60,000 prize package, including a new Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat and $10,000, while Strike King co-anglers will also vie for a new Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat.

Major League Fishing tournaments are broadcast on Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, World Fishing Network, MyOutdoorTV, Discovery and CBS Sports, according to the release.
