An electrical automation design company based in Greenville has been acquired by a Kentucky electrical contracting firm.
“We are thrilled to add PGI to the Amteck family, bringing another area of expertise on board, allowing us to grow into a higher level of sophistication within the industry. Plus, with process in-house, it puts us in a position to better serve our clients,” Amteck’s CEO Daren Turner said, in a news release.
PGI’s electrical automation systems are used in verticals such as automotive, oil and gas, food and beverage production and biotech. Amteck will be able to use PGI’s staff experience to work on complex process systems, Turner said.
All PGI employees have been retained by Amteck.
