The Greenville Drive, BMW Manufacturing, Hubbell Lighting and Greenville Technical College will host Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Night at Fluor Field on Monday, July 30. The event is designed to bring awareness to students and parents across the Upstate about the unique work experience and career opportunities that are available in the changing world of advanced manufacturing and engineering.

The event will feature manufacturing and engineering exhibits and activities, and a video message from CEOs from BMW, Michelin, Hubbell Lighting, GE, the Greenville Chamber, Greenville Tech and Clemson University who appeal to parents, influencers and decision makers that manufacturing is an attractive and viable career option, according to a news release.

To encourage students to participate, the Drive is providing tickets to all K-12 students at no cost.  A portion of the proceeds from group tickets sold will be used to support a scholarship fund for Greenville Technical College’s Center for Manufacturing Innovation.

All fans are encouraged to participate in pregame activities and network with educators and industry leaders. Pregame activities and concourse exhibits begin at 6 p.m., and the first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
