Multi-Pack Solutions, a contract packager and manufacturer, is investing $16.3 million in an expansion of its Greenville County operations, a move that is expected to create 72 new jobs, according to the S.C. Department of Commerce.

Currently located at 4611 Dairy Drive in Greenville, Multi-Pack will expand its production and sales operations by moving into a 125,000-square-foot facility at the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center. The new operations are expected to be online by the fourth quarter, according to a news release.

"We are very pleased and excited about the opportunity to partner with the state of South Carolina and Greenville County in the expansion of our operations. We have been part of the Greenville community for more than 25 years and believe this investment will be beneficial for us, demonstrating our commitment to the community,” said Steve Crass, Multi-Pack president, in the release. “We are excited to be making this new investment in the Greenville area and look forward to building on our past successes, walking into a bright future together."

Multi-Pack is a contract packager and manufacturer in the consumer, over-the-counter drug and medical device markets with locations in Greenville and Mt. Prospect, Ill. Employing more than 300 workers, the company offers turnkey solutions with chemical blending services, in-house microbiology and chemistry labs, the release said.

"Multi-Pack is a highly-respected packaging and custom manufacturing provider and an excellent complement to this region's growing cluster of leading consumer, pharmaceutical and industrial brands,” said Butch Kirven, Greenville County Council chairman and director of the Greenville Area Development Corp., in the release. “County Council is pleased that they have chosen to expand their operations and workforce here in Greenville County.”
