Fujifilm Manufacturing USA Inc., one of the manufacturing locations for Tokyo-based Fujifilm Corp., is expanding its Greenwood operation as a result of transferring chemical production from Rolling Meadows, Ill., to the Greenwood campus.
The expansion is expected to create 15 to 20 jobs and is planned for completion the first half of 2020, according to a news release.
“Bringing these jobs to Greenwood and expanding our production demonstrates Fujifilm’s confidence in our highly skilled workforce,” Todd Croker, president of Fujifilm Manufacturing USA Inc., said in the release. “This is good news for the Greenwood campus, and our dedicated and highly skilled workforce stands ready to service our customers for years to come.”
Fujifilm operates on a 500-acre campus at 211 Puckett Ferry Road near Lake Greenwood. The company last year announced that it would add 67 new jobs with a $3.9 million investment.
