Industrial generator manufacturer to bring 21 jobs to Upstate

Industrial generator manufacturer Power Pool Plus will locate a new facility in Greenwood County, adding 21 expected new jobs.

“Our choice of Greenwood County, S.C., for the location of our new manufacturing headquarters did not happen by chance,” Doug Hulse, president of Power Pool Plus Inc., said in a news release. “With the community being the essential element of any company culture, we believe that the values, ideals and work ethic of the people of Greenwood County align perfectly with those that we've set for Power Pool Plus over these past 30 years."

The company’s new plant at 1107 Willard Road will expand its capacity for manufacturing industrial power generation equipment, contract steel fabrication and critical care generation services for the health care, construction and refrigerated transportation industries, according to the release.

“We are excited about Power Pool Plus Inc.’s decision to establish operations here in Greenwood County. Their investment and jobs within our community are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to all they will achieve in the years to come,” Steve Brown, chairman of Greenwood County Council, said in the release.
