Milliken & Co. has donated $330,000 to the United Way of the Piedmont. The gift is comprised of pledges from associates based at Milliken’s global headquarters in Spartanburg and a matching gift from the Milliken Foundation.
The donation was done through the company’s Milliken Gives corporate community outreach program, which features a multi-pronged approach to encourage associates to give in ways resonating best with them: monetary donations through an annual corporate giving campaign, associate volunteer hours and community support drives held at Milliken, according to a news release.
