13 organizations benefited from CresCom Foundation in 2018

Employees of CresCom Bank branches in Greer, Taylors and Greenville donated almost $29,000 to local nonprofits and organizations in 2018 through the CresCom Foundation, an organization employees created in 2014, according to a news release.

“The CresCom Bank Foundation’s purpose is to improve the quality of life in our community. It’s a heartfelt initiative that the Upstate branch team members have taken upon themselves along with the support of the CresCom Bank leadership,” April Staggs, CresCom Bank team member and board director of the CresCom Foundation, said in the release. “Each year we select local charities and team members set personal goals in order to raise as much money as possible to fulfill the donation requests.”

The donations will help afterschool programs for children in need, deliver care providers for children and adults with special needs, offer housing and assistance to obtain work for men who are in need, help hunger prevention and benefit medical services for women and those in need, the release said.
