Goodwill opens Youth and Family Services Center

Listen to this articleGoodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina celebrated the opening of Fluor’s Golf for Greenville Youth and Family Services Center this week.
The facility, located at 45 E. Main St. in Greenville, previously housed Goodwill’s YouthBuild Greenville program. Through a grant from Fluor’s Golf for Greenville in 2018, the facility was updated and remodeled to serve all of Goodwill’s Greenville-area youth programs, according to a news release. The programs will include the GoodGuides youth mentoring program.
Fluor’s Golf for Greenville was developed and founded by Fluor employee volunteers in 1989. Since its inception, the employee-led initiative has raised more than $5.7 million to assist community organizations, the release said. In 2018, the event raised $670,000 for Goodwill Industries, the Greenville Free Medical Clinic and Make-a-Wish South Carolina.
