The Countybank Foundation, which represents Countybank and Greenwood Capital, has donated $6,500 to aid families in need through the nonprofit Anderson Interfaith Ministries, according to a news release.

“Countybank and Greenwood Capital are pleased to continue this important partnership with AIM,” Michael Wooles, Countybank’s senior vice president and Anderson market executive, said in the news release. “We see their extraordinary work building up our community by providing a helping hand and supporting those in need.”

The check, presented by Wooles and Peggy Chamblee, Countybank’s vice president and financial center manager, will be used toward AIM fundraising events for families in need across the county, according to the release.

Countybank has been the primary sponsor for AIM’s All-In Dinner and silent auction and participated in the organizations shoe drive and annual Hearts for Helping fundraiser.

“AIM is grateful for Countybank and Greenwood Capital’s continued partnership in helping us fulfill our mission of providing resource, support and education, which leads our clients to self-sufficiency,” said Kristi King-Brock, AIM’s executive director.
